Individual coaching sessions

Document review (organizational, not legal)
Educational resources and materials
Important Clarifications:
Coaching is NOT:
Psychotherapy or mental health treatment
Legal advice or representation
Financial or investment advice
Medical advice or treatment
Crisis intervention or emergency services
We are NOT:
If you require therapeutic, legal, financial, or medical services, we strongly encourage you to seek appropriate licensed professionals in those fields.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
4. Client Responsibilities
As a client, you agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information during intake and throughout coaching
Attend scheduled sessions or provide appropriate notice of cancellation
Complete any assigned work or exercises between sessions
Take responsibility for your own decisions and actions
Maintain confidentiality regarding other clients in group settings
Refrain from recording sessions without express written permission
Use coaching services in good faith and for their intended purpose
5. Emergency & Crisis Situations
Cardinal Point Coaching does not provide crisis intervention or emergency services.

6. Payment Terms
Pricing
Current pricing for services is listed on our website and is subject to change. All prices are in U.S. dollars.
Payment Requirements
Payment is required in advance of all scheduled sessions
Accepted payment methods: [to be determined: Stripe, PayPal, etc.]
Recurring subscriptions will auto-renew unless cancelled
Package purchases are non-refundable once sessions have begun
Refund Policy
Introductory consultations: Always free
Single sessions: Non-refundable once completed
Packages: Refundable on a prorated basis for unused sessions within 30 days of purchase, before the third session
Monthly subscriptions: May be cancelled at any time; no refunds for partial months
No-shows: Charged in full with no refund
Late Payment
Failure to pay for services may result in suspension or termination of coaching services.
7. Scheduling, Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance
Same-day cancellations are not permitted except in cases of documented emergency
Same-day cancellations without emergency documentation will be charged in full
Repeated late cancellations may result in termination of services
No-Show Policy
Emergency Exceptions
Emergencies include:
Sudden serious illness or injury (documentation may be requested)
Death in the immediate family
Natural disasters or severe weather
Other documented emergencies at coach's discretion
8. Confidentiality & Privacy

Limits of Confidentiality
We may be required to breach confidentiality in the following circumstances:
You provide written authorization to release information
There is reasonable suspicion of child abuse or neglect
There is reasonable suspicion of abuse or neglect of an elderly or dependent adult
You present a serious danger of violence to yourself or another identifiable person
We are required by court order or subpoena
We need to defend ourselves in legal proceedings initiated by you
Group Coaching Confidentiality
Participants in group coaching or workshops are expected to maintain confidentiality regarding other participants' information. While we require this commitment, we cannot guarantee that all participants will honor this agreement.
Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Cardinal Point Coaching website, including but not limited to:
Text, graphics, logos, images
Course materials and worksheets
Videos, audio recordings, and webinars
Training programs and methodologies
The "Cardinal Point" name and branding

Your Use Rights
You may:

Reproduce, distribute, or share coaching materials with others

Share or resell access to group programs or workshops
User-Generated Content
By submitting testimonials, feedback, or other content to us, you grant Cardinal Point Coaching a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and publish such content for marketing and promotional purposes.

With your express written consent, we may use:

Your first name and last initial
General location (city/state)
Before/after descriptions (anonymized)

11. Disclaimer of Warranties
CARDINAL POINT COACHING SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We do not warrant that:
Coaching will achieve specific results
Services will be uninterrupted or error-free
All information provided is complete or accurate
Coaching will resolve your high-conflict situation
You acknowledge that:
Results vary by individual
Success depends on your commitment and effort
External factors beyond our control may affect outcomes
You are responsible for your own decisions and actions
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CARDINAL POINT COACHING SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
Emotional distress or personal injury
Damages arising from decisions you make based on coaching
Actions taken by third parties mentioned in coaching sessions
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR SERVICES IN THE SIX MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You acknowledge that:
Coaching involves discussing difficult situations and may bring up uncomfortable emotions
You are responsible for your own wellbeing during and after sessions
We are not liable for outcomes of interactions with high-conflict individuals
Legal, financial, or medical decisions should be made in consultation with appropriate licensed professionals
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cardinal Point Coaching, its owner, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any rights of another party
Your use or misuse of our services
Any false or misleading information you provide
Your actions or decisions made during or after coaching
14. Termination
By You
You may terminate coaching services at any time by providing written notice. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to our refund policy.
By Us
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend services immediately, without prior notice, if:
You violate these Terms
You engage in abusive, threatening, or harassing behavior
You provide false or misleading information
You fail to pay for services
You are a poor fit for our coaching model
We determine, in our sole discretion, that continuing services is not in your best interest
Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
Your access to materials and resources will be revoked
Outstanding payments remain due
Confidentiality obligations continue
Provisions that by nature should survive will remain in effect
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your State], without regard to conflict of law principles.

Sessions may not be recorded by clients without express written permission
We may take notes during sessions for coaching purposes only
Session recordings or transcripts will not be provided upon request
Notes and records are maintained according to professional coaching standards

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for:
The content or practices of third-party sites
Any transactions between you and third parties

21. Force Majeure
